Double your impact for World Children's Day

For a safe, healthy life for the kids we love, Marie and her family will match the first $1,000 of all donations to Australian Parents for Climate Action in honour of World Children's Day!

Donate here to protect the kids you love and Marie's family will double your impact!

This Sunday, 20th November is World Children's Day. As parents and grandparents we are inspired to act in the best interests of our kids and grandkids. When it comes to climate action - we do what we do for the love of our kids and a safe, healthy future for them.

Meet Marie - Marie Carvolth is no stranger to climate action and standing up for our kids. Marie is co-founder and the Chairperson of Australian Parents for Climate Action.

This month Marie and her family have stepped up as Climate Champions in our #4TheLoveOfOurKids Appeal - and they have very generously offered to help you double your impact in honour of World Children’s Day!!

Marie and her husband share with us -

Every person who acts on climate change these days is honestly our hero. Every action counts to protect the ones we love - whether it's donating to climate action or putting up a yard sign or speaking up in our communities and to decision-makers. Please help us empower parents to act on climate.

A bright, safe, healthy and joyous life is our deepest hope for our precious son Owen. We know this is possible, by protecting natural habitats and embracing the many wonderful clean energy and transport solutions that are available or being rapidly developed to address climate change. But these solutions have to be implemented in the next 7-8 years before climate change has gotten too bad to reign it in. Owen will only be 16 years old by then. So it's up to us as his parents to do all we can NOW, to push governments and big businesses to make the right decisions to embrace and fund the solutions for a clean healthy prosperous economy.

That's what drove me to co-found and commit so much of my time to Australian Parents for Climate Action. Now we're asking you to support our impactful national charity to keep growing our impact for the safety of all the kids you love. We empower parents and carers to speak out for the love of their kids in their communities, the media and to politicians. Senior leaders across politics and the climate movement have declared that what we're doing is critical to building the political courage for our politicians to commit to stronger climate action.

Parents are a huge segment of society - together we can show politicians that if they want to survive politically, they must act ambitiously on climate change to protect our kids. So let's do this, and give our kids the happy healthy lives they deserve! You're our hero :)”

Inspired by a safe, healthy life for their son Owen and everyone they love, Marie’s family will match the first $1,000 of all donations that are made to them before Dec 31! Can you help Marie’s family celebrate World Children’s Day and have your donation doubled in the process?

As the climate crisis worsens, Australian Parents for Climate Action is bringing solutions to the table in electorates in every state and territory. But we need more resources to support our national network to organise and grow its impact. Our plan is to educate and empower millions of families in strategic locations to deliver strong public pressure on our politicians, engage communities, and leverage the media. We are catalysing a national movement of action, led by volunteers, backed by essential support. Now we need to raise enough funds to meet our target and cover our costs this financial year.

Help us raise $30,000 before 31st December by donating here and Marie's family will double your impact!
