Western Sydney families are coming together  for a fun, free and family-friendly Summer Picnic a chance to connect, cool down, learn practical ways to prepare for a hotter future, and enjoy a great day in the park.

Join Parents for Climate and local community partners for a relaxed day packed with activities, practical information and plenty of fun for the whole family.

📍 HOW TO FIND US

Our Summer Picnic will be held at Daramu Shelter, Parramatta Park.

Daramu is located near Domain Creek Playground — look for the playground and you’ll find the shelter nearby. There is a car park approximately 95m from the shelter, with toilets also close by.

🚗 Driving: Enter Parramatta Park and follow the internal park roads towards the Daramu/Domain Creek Playground area.

🚶 Walking: Parramatta Park is an easy walk from both Parramatta and Westmead stations.

Look out for our Summer Picnic signs on the day! Bring the family, invite a friend, pack your picnic blanket and get ready for a fun-filled Halloween weekend in the park! 💚🎃
