Climate Parents Podcast

Back in April 2023, we featured a brand new Parent Powered Podcast - Now What Now created by climate Mums Mei and Rosa. Two years later the podcast is still going strong with Rosa continuing to regularly add new inspiring parent stories. When it all feels a bit much this is a great podcast to help top your inspiration cup.

Now What Now is a podcast about parents and carers figuring out how to act on climate while navigating their work and family life.

In the podcast episodes you'll meet everyday parents and carers just like you who are finding ways to engage in climate advocacy and community building. Their stories are relatable and inspiring.

In the 11 episodes so far you meet the parents who:

  • Are thinking about the kind of legacy we can leave our kids;
  • Have connected with other families on climate;
  • Created groups for their community;
  • Championed local solutions;
  • Learnt new skills;
  • Got politically engaged; and
  • Met friends for life along the way and more.

Parents who have experienced climate grief, have felt stuck and out of their depth (or overwhelmed) but ultimately have chosen to lead with active hope. They show us that a parent’s love is a powerful thing and what being part of a supportive community enables.

We are grateful to Jasper, Hannah, David, Louise, Claire, Amy, Dr Steven, Yvette, Dr Emma and Rob - many of whom are Parents for Climate volunteers - for sharing their stories.
