As parents, we are the experts on care for our kids. But when it comes to advocating for safe future for them with an MP, a neighbor, or a local councillor, it’s easy to feel like we need a PhD in science or policy to be heard.
Here’s the truth: Your lived experience as a parent is more powerful than statistics, technical data or complex science.
Join us for Your Story Matters, this 60 minute workshop is designed specifically for busy parents who want to turn their climate concern into a compelling narrative that actually moves decision-makers.
Based on internationally used frameworks, this workshop will help you:
- Understand why parents are the ulimate messengers: Your love for your kids really is your greatest advocacy tool.
- Find your "spark": Identify the moments that make your climate story unique.
- Centre parents experience in our advocacy: Reflect on how to speak about campaigns like Solar Our Learning or Clean Air for Kids.
- Practice with peers: Draft and share your story in a safe, supportive space.
