Spring- River Joeys Nature Playgroup at Boundry Rd Reserve

Our nature-based playgroup aims to connect children ages 0-6 years to the natural environment through fun activities and unstructured play. We provide opportunities for children to build self-esteem through hands-on learning at Boundary Road Reserve. Sessions include bush-craft, music, stories and sensory activities. Through the playgroup, we hope to build a love and awareness of wildlife and sustainability in our children and a deeper connection to nature’s cycles, rhythms and patterns.

Bring a change of clothes, plenty of water and snacks.

Please note there are no toilets (we provide everything you need for bush wees)

Location: Boundary Road Reserve (Kangaroo Walking Track)

Enter via Charles Sturt University, Panorama Ave. Head towards the Accommodation Village, on Village Drive and park next to building 1365.

We are limited to 20 children for each playgroup - you will be advised if you are on the waitlist and if spaces are booked out.

Our playgroup is run weekly by volunteers and offered by donation (suggested donation $5* per family, per session).
All donations are used by the Bathurst Parents for Climate group to purchase equipment and materials for the playgroup and fund our local activities.
