Kids' Clothes and Toy Swap

Join us for a kids' clothes and toy swap at the Blue Mountains Planetary Health Precinct and Parklands (former Katoomba Golf Course) in Katoomba. Bring the items that your children have grown out of and go home with new (to you!) pre-loved clothing and toys. Less shopping, more swapping! Save money and reduce your consumption and waste of kids' clothes and toys.

How it works? Bring up to 10 good quality clothing items and/or up to 10 good quality toys. Please bring clothing items to swap that are suited to the summer weather (i.e., no winter clothing for this swap). If you don't have anything to swap, no worries. Please come along and take home some items - we often end up with lots of stuff! We do accept donations for clothing and toys, especially clothing sized 1-3 years, and good quality books and arts materials.

Schedule: 1pm arrival and put items on the tables. 1.30pm swap commences 🧸⚽️♻️💜

This is a FREE child-friendly event. The event is part of Planetary Health Day 9am-3pm. This community day features stalls, talks, workshops, an exhibition, entertainment, plant-based food, family fun, and more. The launch of the Community Water Tank Bulk Buy for discounted tanks is also taking place on the day.

We acknowledge that we live, work and care on unceded Darug and Gundungurra lands. This always was and always will be First Nations land.

Thank you to Blue Mountains City Council for supporting our climate action.

Parents for Climate meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
