Let's welcome Divers for Climate to Hervey Bay!
We're collaborating with Hervey Bay CoralWatch to bring Divers for Climate CEO Yolanda Waters to Hervey Bay for a screening of the powerful Divers for Climate documentary that was launched in June 2024. The documentary highlights the significant coral reef bleaching event in 2024 and weaves together the voices and experiences of divers throughout Australia.
Divers for Climate are a community-led initiative made by divers for divers that aims to organise collective climate action across the dive community and beyond. We know how passionate divers are about the ocean and we know how many powerful stories they have to tell.
At Divers for Climate, the goal is to channel the passion and stories from the dive community into stronger climate policies in Australia and around the world.
This event will also showcase a number of local environment, climate and marine based groups.
