Parents for Climate are hosting a school holiday bush animal mask making workshop. Bring your kids and join us as at Gathered Organics this Saturday April 26th 10am-12noon.  Choose your favourite plant, animal or bird and we will help you to make a mask for the Welcome The Rains Parade on Saturday May 31st. The cost is $5 each. No need to bring supplies, just yourselves.  

The Welcome the Rains Parade will celebrate the start of the rainy season. Wadandi custodian Zack Webb has given permission, and offers this as a way to gain a simple understanding of the Indigenous practice of reciprocity - giving and recieving from nature. Through imagining ourselves into the characters of our favourite plants and animals its only natural to become carers or custodians and ensure we think and act for their best care.
