What a webinar! It was truly heartening to see so many parents, caregivers, and community members join us for the Calling All Parents election launch webinar. If you were there, you already know what a powerful experience it was. If not, don’t worry - we’ve got the highlights covered for you!
Our special guests, parenting legend Steve Biddulph and political strategist Sophia Walter, brought inspiration, hope, and practical advice for how parents can drive meaningful climate action. This event marked the beginning of our Protect What You Love campaign, which provides simple, impactful ways for time-poor parents to get involved in shaping our country's climate politics.
Words of Wisdom from Steve Biddulph
Steve Biddulph reminded us why taking action isn’t just about protecting the planet - it’s about protecting our mental health and modeling resilience for our kids. One quote stood out:
"What we know from the studies is that activism is very good for your mental health. It's good for your kids to see that you're involved in it. And it's good for you to be addressing things. It is not good for our mental health to have our heads in the sand. A human being is just so far better off when their values, their beliefs, their actions, and their heart are pointed in the same direction.”
This reminder was a powerful call to align our values with our actions - and to show our children the importance of stepping up for what we believe in.
Hope Meets Action: Launching the Protect What You Love Campaign
With the expertise of Sophia Walter, we officially launched the Protect What You Love campaign, a suite of simple, family-friendly actions to help shift the dial on climate politics. Whether you have five minutes or five hours, there’s a way for everyone to get involved:
- Host a Yard Sign: Display a beautiful sign in your yard or neighborhood to make climate action visible - even if you’re away on holiday.
- Contact Decision-Makers: Register your interest in reaching out to politicians or the media.
- Donate: Fuel the campaign that fuels change.

A Sign of the Times: How You Can Take Action Today
With talk of an early election, this summer is critical for showing politicians that our communities demand climate action. But it’s also a time for families to rest and recharge. That’s why our yard signs are the perfect solution—they work even while you’re on holiday!
Hosting a yard sign is a simple yet impactful way to spread the message and start conversations in your community. These signs are part of our mission to ensure that climate action stays visible and unignorable.
Together, We Can Achieve So Much
Wednesday’s webinar was just the beginning of a journey that will take us to the next federal election and beyond. Whether you’re displaying a sign, writing to a decision-maker, or finding another way to contribute, every action counts.
As Steve Biddulph said:
"When parents act together, we are a force to be reckoned with."
Let’s channel that energy into meaningful action for our kids, our communities, and our planet.
Thank you for all you do to protect what you love ❤️. Let’s make this campaign one that brings hope, action, and lasting change to families across the country.
Let’s turn hope into action and build a brighter future together.
