Come along to the East Sydney Parents for Climate Clothes, Books and Toy Swap and enjoy a more sustainable holiday period. All welcome!
Why does it matter? By re-gifting and lengthening the life of clothes, books and toys you're reducing overall consumption and helping prevent these items going to landfill!
How does it work: Bring a few items or a bag full, when you arrive we'll check you in, you'll put your items in the allocated spots, then browse for your bounty!
We'll be swapping Adult and Kids Clothes, Kids Books and Toys.
Copuple of things to note:
- Quality: Items should be clean, working, and free of stains, rips, or damage. Toys should have all their parts, and electronics should have working batteries. Books should be in good condition (max 5 please).
- Please don't bring: Anything dangerous, toy guns, swords etc or pre-used undies/socks.
Location: Coogee East Ward Senior Citizens Centre is conveniently located a block back from the lovely Coogee Beach, a few minutes walk from Coogee Bay Road. The venue is easily accessible by public transport, with some on-street and shopping centre parking available near by.
