In 2026 the theme for World Environment Day is A Global Call for Climate Action.

At this family friendly event you can:
🌳engage in nature inspired craft activities
🌳enjoy an easy walk on one of the accessible Daisy Hill walking trails
🌳participate in bushwalk / nature bingo
🌳learn more about our campaigns to support climate action like Solar Our Learning
🌳connect with other like-minded families

A free community BBQ, fruit snacks and face painting will be available.
The Koala Centre will be open from 10am - 4pm - a great follow on activity for the family.

This is a great opportunity for new and existing Parents for Climate volunteers and supporters from the local area and surrounds (including south Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich) to get together in nature and celebrate our commitment to creating a safe climate where our kids and life on Earth can thrive.
