Qld Parents Catch Up

Calling all climate parents in Queensland!

Please join us for a catch up with other parents, grandparents and carers who are part of the Parents for Climate community in the sunshine state. In the led up to the 2024 state election we have a huge opportunity to step up and speak up as champions for a safe climate for our kids to thrive.

During our lunctime session you'll have an opportunity to connect with our Community Resilience Manager, Bianca Sands who is based in Queensland along with other parents based in Queensland. We'll give you a heads up on our plans for summer and some exciting campaign work being launched in early 2024.

Bring along your lunch, a cool drink, and your questions. It's totally fine if you have kids with you too (we get it school holidays start early in Qld!).

You'll receive the Zoom log in details after you RSVP and we'll send you a reminder too.

We look forward to meeting with you and working together for climate action in Queensland.

Parents for Climate meet and work on the lands of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect that sovereignty of those lands was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
